
The Atari Flashback Portable, the prototype of which is what you see above, will run for 15 hours on 3 AAA batteries and will feature a 320x240 LCD screen. Oh, and it will sport some nifty AV-out capabilities, thus enabling lovely big screen retro gaming. Apparently, there will also be some USB connectivity, but this might just be a prototype only thing.

Very interesting! I can only imagine that the games will come as large collections, not individual titles...
ReplyDeleteWhilst it gladdens mr that I'll be able to play Atari games on the go, it also reminds me of the dead 2600 up in my loft...
And I hope its cheap too...
Judging by the original Flashback console and the GG game thingy, it will be dirt cheap... Which s quite promising...
