The Pandora (video) Review

The Pandora handheld is a beautiful mini-computer, that effortlessly doubles as the most powerful open-source gaming handheld around. Oh, and importantly the thing comes with a full keyboard that will allow you to properly enjoy your text-adventures, while its dual analog sticks make modern arcade gaming a breeze. Karoshi on iPhone, iPad and Android

Had you been reading the excellent IndieGames blog, you'd already know that the brilliant, deranged, indie, suicide-focused platformer Karoshi has already appeared on your mobile device of choice; provided said device is either an iDevice or something based on Android. You can grab the Android version here and the Apple one here. Oh, and do try the freeware PC version here. Let me just tell you it's really good.

Tapper World Tour

Remember the excellent Tapper arcade game released back in 1983 by Bally Midway? Well, you should, for not only was it a truly unique, humorous, beautiful and frantic beer serving game with an outrageous controller, but it also managed to get itself (mostly) great ports for most of them 80s gaming platforms. Anyway, what really matters is that the game will get a a modern remake that will appear on iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch. Oh, and it will be called Tapper World Tour. The Game Boy Oscilloscope

Oscilloscopes, those beautifully arcane display devices, have been with gaming from the very beginning of its history. Though Tennis for Two isn't the hottest digital offering of our age, the oscilloscope that joystiq discovered is way more interesting. It can actually display GameBoy games, while being both utterly impressive and definitely not portable. Here, have a look at the video:
