Weeeeel, we are kinda sorta slightly excited about this highly handheld Mega Drive thingy....

Ok, everybody knows UK Resistance are a) hilarious and b) right, and I guess everyone should know they are not excited about yet another Sega retro handheld, but one could admit that a SEGA Mega Drive portable emulator isn't that horrible a prospect. I mean, look at it. It's even got all the proper buttons. And its by Tectoy too. And a Mega Drive (for our American reader) is quite a bit like a Genesis, you know...

Anyway, should you be pathetic enough to be like me and consequently care about such an abomination, you'd better click here. Mind you, it comes with 20 pretty classic MD games: Alex Kidd in the Enchanted Castle, Alien Storm, Altered Beast, Arrow Flash, Columns III, Crack Down, Decap Attack, Dr. Robotnik´s Mean Bean Machine, Ecco, Ecco Jr., E-SWAT: Cyber Police City Under Siege, Flick, Gain Ground, Golden Axe, Jewel Master, Kid Chameleon, Ristar, Sonic and Knuckles, Shadow Dancer, The Secret of Shinobi, The Revenge of Shinobi.

  1. Gasp! Who couldn't be excited about a handheld Megadrive emulator?

Jeez Gnome! I'm supposed to be going to bed right now and you've got me all excited!

Now if they have Micro Machines on it I'm sold!

And BTW have you noticed that it's the only home console from Sega that doesn't have a Junkyard?

    We must investigate this travesty...

  2. Investigate the transvestites? Why, Father that's .. oh... I see...

Well, anyway, it seems that Micro Machines are part of the offering and shockingly the same thing goes for Sonic...

Another Junkyard you say eh? Well, I could come up with a basic blog design and occasionally chip in, but I'm not sure I'd be able to contribute that much...
