Coded Soul, which as you can see for yourselves looks more than interesting, should be hitting stores in Japan sometime during February. Oh, and it's an obviously sci-fi CRPG discovered by Ripten.com.

I saw this earlier and thought one of these days, something is going to come along so fine that I will not be able to resist a PSP. :)
ReplyDeleteHowever, I wonder if these are truly screen shots: the art style is significantly different between the first one and the other two.
FWIW, IGN posted something of a storyline for the game. It's the kind of plot I would expect to find in a fantasy setting in a way, which I think makes the games intriguing.
While not a port, it will be able to connect to Folklore on the PS3.
What about a USA release date?
ReplyDeleteCan't be sure either what's a screenshot and what isn't dear guttertalk, but still one must admit everything looks more than adequate, though I'm not sure an epic rpg is what the PSP was made for, especially considering its load-times. More than interesting storyline too. Thanks for the link.
ReplyDeleteNo info on that front yet funnyman.
I hope I won't have to go all the way to Japan to play it.
ReplyDeleteWouldn't be a good idea. Besides what's good an RPG in Japanese if you cant speak the language?
ReplyDeleteI've still not put my PSP to good use. When I first got my DS Ididn't use that properly either... It was just a conduit for GBA games for a while.
ReplyDeleteStill waiting for that all in PSP experience...
I was hoping for english voice acting.
ReplyDeleteI'm pretty sure it will get one when (if) released in the west...
ReplyDeleteLooks like I am going to have to hire a smuggler to import this game from Japan to the USA.
ReplyDeleteJust give it some time... In the meantime I'll look for some good translators...
