Sony PSP goes all Darth Vader

Yes, I know, it's absolutely lovely and Sony has been nice enough to bundle said ceramic white PSP with the well received Star Wars Battlefront Renegade Squadron game and some rather useful bits like the much loved AC adapter. See for yourselves. It's been available for quite a few days, you know.

  1. The game is dreadful. It is best to wait for The Force Unleashed on the PS3.

  2. I'll take your word for it (though most reviewers tend to differ), but you'll have to admit the PS3 is not that portable really...

  3. Fine then. Wait for the 360 version of The Force Unleashed.

  4. I like the look of it... I might have to buy it now I've got my own PSP...

*FK stands and waits smugly in anticipation of Gnome's reaction...*

  5. Buying a PSP is fine, but don't buy one for this game. It really hurts me to say that because I love Star Wars, however it needed to be said.

  6. Pssst... father... don't buy it just yet... first read a few reviews... better yet, steal it... shhhh...

Funnyman, did you try the multiplayer bits of the game too?

  7. It does have a 16 player multiplayer, but that is the only bright spot about it.

  8. Well it *is* supposed to be a mainly multiplayer offering, right?

  9. *FK looks disappointed and hurt that Gnome didn't acknowledge his ownership of a PSP...*

*shouts through large megaphone...* "Gnome!!! I've got a PSP!!!!"

*Runs out of room... Returns wearing a T-shirt bearing the logo "Gnome I've got a PSP!!!" frantically waving PSP under Gnome's nose... runs out of room again...runs back in again with picture of PSP tatooed on forehead carrying a large flag bearing the message... etc. etc...)*

  10. Even the multiplayer was not as great as the console iterations of Battlefront.

  11. Ok, I see. Now, did you notice something weird happening around the place? Oh!

Hey Father. Anything new happened lately? Played something funky?

  12. GRRR! I now own a PSP etc...

  13. Ah, yes, says so on the t-shirt, doesn't it? Great, great! An excellent choice sir, now why not have some fm to go with it?

  14. Maybe my comment might have been misinterpreted. The fact that the PSP has 16 player multiplayer is a nice feature, but the multiplayer itself is horrible. Both the multiplayer and single player were fine in the console versions, but they were both a disaster on the PSP. Does that make sense or do I need to stop drinking and typing simontaneously?

  15. Perfect sense and please don't stop drinking. It's sort of a custom around here... :)
