God of War PSP trailer

Who writes this stuff? A warrior of legend must battle creatures of myth? I mean, really, how tackier can it get? And don't get me started on the quality of the voice-over... Still, Gods of War for the PSP looks shiny and gory enough to make a fun little diversion, though definitely not of the sophisticated kind.

  1. I hope Kratos will be able to have sex with women in this game and in God of War 3.

  2. Yes, it's so absolutely exciting when Kratos gets all sexy and stuff... well, uhhh, no, not really...

  3. I wish this game would come to PSN, even though I know it is not.

  4. It does look bloody impressive though doesn't it?

Almost makes me yearn for a PSP again...

  6. Yes, it is impressive. Probably enjoyable too, but frankly I'm not that excited.

Oh, and Father... better decide my friend or just keep an extra one near at every time ;)

  7. Why did you make this blog post if you don't care Gnome?

  8. Cause I care? :) Ok, I'm not that egocentric, but my point is , maybe because other people may care?

  9. Not that I don't care funnyman, but I just couldn't avoid the temptation of being sarcastic of the thing's narration.

And you dear Nebacha aren't totally wrong, if I am to be honest...

  10. Sarcasm. I didn't catch that the first time. I should have paid more attention.

  11. It is great to get some background information on Kratos before he killed Ares (spoiler alert). Sorry if I ruined the ending. The God of War franchise is not even a true trilogy. It has or will end up having 4 parts to the storyline.

  12. I can always grab my son's PSP if I need a fix... I just noticed Pursuit Force in his room the other day, and if I remember right it's quite an enjoyable little game...

Plus he's got a good quality copy of I Am Legend and a USD of Kung Fu Hustle...

  13. Killed Ares... Nasty that... Oh, and 4 games does sound a bit too much, even for Mr. Jaffe.

Never heard of Pursuit Force dear Father, but it must be quite reassuring having video gaming children around your place. A cunning plan that keeps PSPSs always at hand...

  14. David was actually involved in only the original God of War. I think good things do eventually come in 4's. Metal Gear 4, Resident Evil 4, Grand Theft Auto 4, and Devil May Cry 4. As long as it is worth playing, then I have no problem with sequels.

  15. Didn't know that really... Thought he was behind all of them. Oh, well. Anyway, I have to agree sequels are fine, especially on less story-heavy games, where they simply enhance the gameplay, update graphics and evolve the concept.

  16. David is involved, but he plays a significantly less role than he did in the original God of War. I am going to have to disagree with you on those storyline games. I enjoy games that have an enjoyable plot.

  17. Me too. What I meant to say is that story-based games don't always make good sequels whereas the other sorts usually do. Monkey Island 3 for example is way worse than Monkey and civ 4 is simply the best of the series...

  18. Oh, I see. Yes, that makes sense.
