Prince Of Persia: Warrior Within Screenshots

Wellit's been a while since I've had a game on my mobile that I thought worthy of a post... If memory serves me well it was Digital Chocolate's "Yakuza". But P.O.P:W.W. ticks all the right boxes. A side scrolling beat 'em up with a good combat system, carefully placed prompts (in terms of which key's to press), a really nice flow and nice graphics, this game is a must have! It actually becomes quite compulsive after a while and easily matches anything the Gameboy Colour has to offer. And that ain't bad for something on your phone is it? Enjoy the screenshots and if you want to see some video look here!

The official blurb goes something like this...

"The Prince is back! Embark on a pirate ship to defy your fate and destroy the Sands of Time. Release the warrior within!

*The highly anticipated sequel to the 2 mobile phone blockbusters, Prince of Persia®: Harem Adventures and Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time™.

*A stronger, more impressive Prince, with acrobatic movement and the ability to stop time.

*An explosive mixture of intense, choreographic fighting and traps set to outsmart you accompanied by a captivating storyline!

*10 levels of incredibly realistic and mysterious environments.
Extended gameplay and even more combat, thanks to the Arena mode!"

  1. Great game indeed!

Not surprising, though, since most side-scrollers by Gameloft are awesome.

Try the first PoP, all the Splinter Cells or XIII to know what I mean.

  2. Is this different from the Prince of Persia on Xbox Live online?

  3. Are you talking of the PoP remake on Xbox Live ? (probably, since I think that's the only one)

Well, whether that's the case or not, the answer is always no. This is a mobile exclusive version.

  8. There is a similar version of this game available for the Gameboy Advance, though it was the Sands of Time.
