Possibly the most interesting DS video, well, possible. The Great Giana Sisters might just be back, and this time its all about jumping around the double small screens, without having blood sucking lawyers harass them. Mario, eat your heart out.
Well, truth be said dear Josh, the original Great Giana Sisters for the 8-bit home micros was pulled for that reason exactly, even though it was simply borrowing elements and copying the philosophy of SMB. This one I can't say really. Don't even know if the ridiculously talented original team is working on it...
Wow, I'm impressed! At first I thought this return was just a joke, and then I thought it would just be a lame rip-off...again...but now that I've seen it in motion I got to say, it actually looks rather fun.
That actually looks pretty fun but what is keeping this from being a blatant wholesale rip off of Mario Brothers?

ReplyDeleteI'd have to dig around but I think I may have done a review once of the original game a long while ago.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, I like the look of this.
I'd love to read it Josh. Please do tell if you find anything...

ReplyDeleteAnd I will definitely grab. Lovely graphics, classic German gameplay.... I mean, really, what more could I ask for?
