The Dreamcast on PSP video

  1. It sure would be nice to play some classic games from the Dreamcast like NFL 2K on my PSP.

  2. I've heard of Dreamcast emulation on the PSP a long time ago, but back then it was just a mere curiosity and not really playable and I always thought it would stay like that, since you usually need the emulating platform to be one or even two generations ahead of the platform you're trying to emulate, and the PSP is pretty much as powerful as a Dreamcast.

If it's a fake, it's indeed a good one, but after seeing really credible GTA IV fakes sometime ago, I now believe that somewhere in the world, there's always someone who will spend a lot of time and effort to make videos just to fool other people.

I want to believe, but for now I'm sceptical.

  3. UNfortunately I'm on the sceptical side too, but I must admit this is an pretty convincing (and very impressive) video. Then again, the PSP is technically more advanced than the DC. Hmmm. And hmm again.

  4. What kind of uber-nerd would fake videos of emulation? I'm not sure... and having seen a crystal clear piece of video (the trailer for Shrek 3) playing on my DS, I believe these homebrew mod types are capable of anything...

It's like my views on aliens. I WANT to believe in them so bad, I'll buy into any piece of crap old video that I'm presented with.

    It's real goddamit! @8&%$£":?!

  5. A very cunning nerd I would believe dear Father. Then again I want to believe too...

  6. People make fake videos all the time. That is just the way the cookie crumbles.
